Intern Supervision

Registered Intern Qualified Supervision

Although clinical supervision is often offered as part of the employment contract, work supervisors may only have the time to assist you in becoming a better employee for the organization. Their focus is often on the company needs of direct client care, documentation deadlines, and other daily work activities.

I strive to assist each supervisee in following your specific interests and how to enhance your scholastic learning with current and future work with clients. My focus is on helping you become the therapist you want to be. We will focus on how to utilize your skills in direct application to situations you face daily with your clients.

I bring my extensive experience in several areas to the supervision sessions including working with mental health, substance use disorder, eating disorders, and behavioral issues. I have worked with severely emotionally disturbed (SED) children & adolescents, and have worked with adults and older adults with a variety of issues. I have been in your shoes and understand your current experiences as I have worked with in-home agencies, residential, and out-patient facilities. My positions over the 19 years of experience in the field include primary therapist, testing and diagnostician specialist, dual-diagnosis specialist, clinical director, private practitioner, and CEO of my consulting practice.

I am a designated Qualified Supervisor in the State of Florida, however I also offer Supervision for those in other states who want to further their specific areas of interest in a one-on-one format of learning. My goal remains the same; to guide and assist you in learning about your specific interests and skills as well as specific populations.
