We provide training for all staff in meeting the Florida statutes as well as the additional requirements for Joint Commission accreditation

DCF

Licensed facilities in the State of Florida are required to have staff trained in the following areas:

• Abuse Reporting Procedures
• Affirmative Action
• American’s With Disabilities
• Ch. 415
• Confidentiality/HIPAA Training
• HIV/Aids and TB Training
• Incident Reporting
• Verbal De-escalation/Aggression Control

Joint Commission

In addition to the Department of Children and Families required trainings, The Joint Commission requires training for employees to include:

• Cultural Diversity Training
• Infection Control Training
• New Employee and Annual Orientation
• Professional Ethics and Boundaries
• Risk Assessment and Management (Disaster, Active Shooter, et al)
